The Pros Of Being The Designated Driver

Every group of friends needs one and if you drew the short straw, don't fret.  Being the designated driver doesn't have to be the end of the world.  You don't have to be blitzed to have a good time and here are a few reasons why being the designated driver isn't so bad.

• If you are single and on the "hunt" for a special someone, your thinking is more rational and you can make better decisions on who you kiss at midnight.
• You get to pick the music!  (B98.5)
• Think of the money you are saving.  Especially if saving money is one of your New Year's resolutions.
• You are a cheap date!  Anyone wanting to buy you a drink certainly can save money on sodas and mocktails.
• Out of all of your friends, you will feel better in the morning.  No hangovers is always a plus.
• You are the Keeper of the Keys, the Warden of the Woozy and therefore can decide when it's time to leave.
• You've paid your dues and know that next time, one of your friends will return the favor.
