The Radio Station ‘Yankee Swap’

We had a Christmas luncheon at the radio station today. It featured great food from Lisa's Restaurant and Catering and the traditional 'Yankee Swap'.

For those of you who aren't familiar with a Yankee Swap, a number goes into a hat, one for each person who brought a gift to swap.

Then you draw the numbers from the hat. The person who has number one, has it the best. They can take whatever gift at the end of the Yankee Swap.

I had number nine out of sixteen. The more popular gifts were the Dunkin' Donuts gift card, the Irving Gift Card and Cumberland Farms Gift Card.

I ended up selecting a Hickory Farms gift box with cheese, sausage and crackers. I traded it away for a three-pack of Slankets! The original blanket with sleeves!

I keep my house very cold, and this is the perfect gift for me!
