#TheFirstDayOfFall – 10 Reasons I LOVE Autumn In Maine
Last year, I posted why I hate Fall. Hate is such a strong word. I've decided to change my thinking. Try to find the positive, rather than focus on the negative (snow). So, my attention this year will be what I love about Autumn. Frankly, it is one of my favorite seasons.
In no particular order, these are what I enjoy about this time of year.
- The color of the leaves
- Driving up Mt. Cadillac at Acadia National Park (BEAUTIFUL)
- The smell of my husband's apple pie
- Apple Picking
- The crisp air.
- Sleeping with the windows open and the down comforter up to your chin
- Carving pumpkins
- Halloween
- Bringing back the Stews/Chowders/Casseroles
- 'Tanks'Giving Food Drive with B98.5
If you can't relate to these...and would rather put your attention on the negative...click here to see why I hate fall. I can't change my feelings about blaze orange, however.
