Things Happening In Maine Over Labor Day Weekend

The first 'holiday' of the school year!  Labor Day Weekend is here and for most of us, we get 3 days off.  Are you not quite done with summer and looking to add something to your 'Summer 2016 Bucket List'?  Here are some happenings going on in Maine over the 3 day weekend.

Windsor Fair:
Aug 28 thru Sep 05, 2016. The Windsor Fair is a large progressive fair with extensive agricultural, crafts and art exhibits. Large midway, animal pulling events, harness racing and mechanical pulls.

Blue Hill Fair:
Sep 01 thru Sep 06, 2016. This is a "Down to Earth" Country Fair always scheduled Labor Day Weekend. The Blue Hill Fair showcases the best of Maine Agriculture, while providing carnival thrills, a great selection of food and displays, and major entertainment

Camden Windjammer Festival:
Sep 02 thru Sep 04, 2016. Celebrate Camden's maritime heritage and living traditions at the annual Camden Windjammer Festival. The fleet gathers in picturesque Camden Harbor for festivities reminiscent of the days when hundreds of coastal schooners lined the waterfront. Festivities include a parade of sail, crate race, fish relay race, build a boat contest, fireworks and more.

Springfield Fair:
Sep 02 thru Sep 05, 2016. The Springfield Fair features a stage show, animal pulling events, antique auto, midway and livestock exhibits.

Harmony Free Fair:
Sep 02 thru Sep 05, 2016. The Harmony Free Fair is a small, licensed fair with rides, crafts, food, motor sports and animals. Stage shows, animal and mechanical pulling, antique autos, midway, livestock

Annual Boothbay Harbor Fest:
Sep 02 thru Sep 11, 2016. Annual Boothbay Harbor Harbor Fest is a ten day community collaboration featuring a collection of unique and vibrant events that celebrate our local lifestyle and heritage. The wide range of festivities offer something for everyone including music, food, craft beers, artists, collectors, wine connoisseurs, fashion, athletes, shopaholics and families. There is even an event for dogs.

Capriccio in Ogunquit:
Sep 05 thru Sep 18, 2016. Capriccio is a town-wide festival of art, music, poetry, ballet, live theater, concerts, design at various venues and architectural tours. Includes the annual Capriccio Festival of Kites
