A New Jersey man spent two days in jail for going 139mph on I-95 in Sidney June 6th. WMTW reports that 64-year-old Sang Yook told the state police he was trying to getaway from someone riding " on his tail," and then refused to get back in his car after asking the trooper to him some slack.
Clinton Police Officer Phil DiLuca rescued a homeowner from a burning building Tuesday night. WCSH reports he was on his way home he heard the call about the fire with a person trapped inside. He went, ended up kicking in the door and found the man sleeping in bed, getting him out before it was too late.
A Hope women was attacked by a rabid raccoon and due to her quick thinking, ended up drowning it in a puddle. According to the Bangor Daily News Rachel Borch was able to then free herself from the animal, get medical care. A man in Topsham was also recently bitten by what is believe to have been a rabid fox.
A 15-year-old Skowhegan boy being charged in connection with four car Monday in Skowhegan. According to Centralmaine.com he was arrested on charges of arson and burglary. He is expect in court today.

President Donald Trump sat by Rep. Press Secretary Sean Spicer says the president was also briefed by Scalise's medical team and spoke with Capitol Police officer Crystal Griner, who was shot in the ankle during the attack on a Republican Congressional baseball practice.
A South Carolina lawmaker recalled a man politely asking whether the team practicing on a Virginia baseball field Wednesday morning was made up of Democrats or Republicans, before he quietly walked away. A short time later, James Hodgkinson opened fire, wounding House Rep. Steve Scalise and several others before he was fatally shot by police. Dale Walsh, a lifelong friend of Hodgkinson's, said the 66-year-old never talked politics, but would occasionally get into fights.
First came the ping of baseball bats, then the crack of gunfire. The gunshots came in quick succession and the horror unfolded in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria, Virginia, home to many federal workers, lawyers and lobbyists who commute across the river to Washington. The Washington Post is reporting that Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election is now examining whether President Donald Trump tried to obstruct justice. Accusations of obstruction arose when last month when Trump fired FBI Director James Comey. Comey testified in a Senate hearing last week that he believed he was fired "because of the Russia investigation."
Officials have identified three people killed after a UPS driver opened fire during a meeting at company warehouse in San Francisco. San Francisco's chief medical examiner identified the victims as 50-year-old Benson Louie and 56-year-old Wayne Chan, both of San Francisco; and 46-year-old Michael Lefiti, of Hercules.
