Winthrop Schools made a budget mistake the department is short about $700,000.  According to WCSH the mistake was a payment on the high school was listed a revenue.  Several people looked at the budget but did not catch it.  They are looking at ways to address  the situation.

A special meeting will be help Wednesday night about the Head of Falls project in Waterville. According to  centrlamine.com the public will be able to  ask questions and  share thoughts. It will happened  7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the council chambers.
