Where do you board this magical train to Santa's home?  Just down the road in Boothbay!

According to Only In Your State, every December the Boothbay Railway Museum offers train rides to the North Pole!

When visitors first arrive, they write a letter to Santa inside the historic train station (meant to look like the Freeport Station from 1912).

Then, everyone boards the train for the trip to The North Pole!  At the North Pole, Santa boards the train and reminds the kids they need to be good for their Christmas dreams to come true.

After that, visitors ride the train to Boothbay town hall for cookies and hot chocolate.

It runs Saturdays and Sundays (December 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, and 23rd).  Regular tickets are $15, or $20 for first class.

The Boothbay Railway Village is located at 86 Wiscasset Road in Boothbay, Maine. They can be reached on (207) 633-4727.  Visit railwayvillage.org for more information.
