I can’t believe they are digging this up again. Deflategate is back and yesterday at the 2nd U.S. District Court of Appeals in New York three judges were hearing the appeal. The NFL is appealing to reinstate Tom Brady’s four-game suspension for supposedly deflating footballs.
Those in court noted the three judges were peppering Brady’s lawyers with questions particularly saying the evidence of ‘ball tampering’ was compelling if not overwhelming. One judge even ask how do they second guess a four-game suspension. Brady destroying his cell phone came into question too.
There was no immediate ruling Thursday. Neither Brady nor NFL commissioner Roger Goodell attended, as expected. Both sides thought proceeding went well, with the NFL Players Association declaring they were very happy.

It could be months before a decision is made, it could even go into the beginning of the next NFL season.
