Three Words: Free Taco Bell

Free food is iconic, one of the greatest ways to entice human beings to do something. But this isn't an enticement, this is just a fun thing Taco Bell is doing for the seventh year in a row. In the World Series, which is set to start on October 23rd, if someone steals a base Taco Bell promises 1 free Doritos Locos taco per person. Now this is just the first stolen base, you don't get a free taco for each one. taco fans can get their free taco on Thursday, November 1 from 2-6pm at participating restaurants across the country.

When that person steals a base, they will become America's Taco Liberator. To honor the person who brings tacos to the masses, Taco Bell is teaming up with Topps, the trading card company, to create limited edition "Taco Hero" baseball cards.The pack will include all six previous Taco Heroes: Cameron Maybin, Jacoby Ellsbury, Jason Bartlett, Ángel Pagán, Lorenzo Cain, and Francisco Lindor.

So let's all cross our fingers and hope we get a free taco!

There are Taco Bell's on Western Ave and Civic Center Drive in Augusta, and one on Kennedy Memorial Drive in Waterville.
