Tim McGraw is no stranger to a No. 1 hit, and this week, he has yet another in his single 'Southern Girl.'

This marks the singer's 35th No. 1 and his third consecutive from this album, 'Two Lanes of Freedom.'

"I think on every record there's a song that the fans take and make their own, and we saw that happen with 'Southern Girl' on the road this summer," McGraw says. "It's been an incredible year and having so much success and three straight No. 1s played a big part of that."

You'd think after so many hits, McGraw might get sick of hearing his own voice on the radio, but he's still thankful after all these years. "I listen to country radio every morning without fail," the superstar reveals. "Even after 35 of these, hearing your local DJ introduce and then play one of your songs will never get old."

You can catch McGraw this Wednesday (Nov. 6) on the 2013 CMA Awards, where he'll be performing. He's also nominated for three different awards for his song 'Highway Don't Care' with Taylor Swift and Keith Urban. If McGraw wins any of his nods, he'll be adding to his collection of CMA Awards -- he already has 12!
