Former Eagles Long-snapper Jon Dorenbos was traded in the off season to the New Orleans Saints. During the routine physical done with every trade it was discovered that he had an aortic aneurysm effectively ending his football career. As we all know this past Sunday the Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl for the first time in Franchise history. Well after their historic win, Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie contacted Dorenbos to inform him he would be receiving an honorary Super Bowl ring after playing for the team for 11 years.
