Javier Amos in Watertown, South Dakota has been battling leukemia. Last month he was contacted by Make-A-Wish to grant him any wish he wanted. Instead of meeting his favorite celebrity, or taking a trip with his family. He wished for a pizza party for his whole school. "Out of all the wishes we have granted, this has got to be one of the most unique ones," Make-A-Wish South Dakota Program Services Director Joe Evenson said.

Javier was in and out of the hospital for much of the last year receiving chemotherapy treatments. He said he really missed spending time with his friends. Last Friday, Javier arrived to school in a police car. When he arrived, everyone was waiting for him with signs and costumes. For two hours after school, Javier and all of his McKinley Elementary schoolmates ate pizza, played laser tag and enjoyed inflatable slides, bouncy houses and obstacle courses.

The best news of all, his leukemia is now in full remission.
