Police officers in Pittsfield Massachusetts  are taking community outreach to the next level with their new ice cream truck. "There is no easier way to reach out to kids than through ice cream," said officer Darren Derby. "The ice cream just gets them there and that's when you can have a conversation and they can ask you about things." Officer Derby is known for taking part in getting out in the community. They stocked the truck with 2,000 popsicles for the 4th of July and the community was in awe, unsure of how to even respond. They say they are going to continue to use the "Copsicle" for more events int he future.
