Today’s Reason to Smile: Community Rallies Behind Local Business

In Sioux City Iowa, Tori and Justin Engelhardt are one of the few bee keepers who actually keep their hives at home during the winter. Well last Thursday they woke to a horrific sight, vandals had broken in during the night and destroyed all 50 of their hives, killing over 500,000 bees and essentially ruining their business.

That's when, according to Sunny Skyz, their community came together to support them. After the news of the vandalizing spread a gofundme was set up to support the family and in just 2 days over $30,000 dollars were donated to the Engelhardt's to support them in their financial crisis.

This just goes to show you that no matter how bad the situation looks, anything can happen when people help people.
