While we enjoyed a three-day weekend for the celebration of Memorial Day, which is always the last Monday in May, the next holidays on the calendar are Flag Day on Friday, June 14th and Father’s Day on Sunday, June 16th but neither of those holidays offer us a three-day weekend.

Independence Day falls on Thursday, July 4th this year, and while that is a government holiday (and most banks follow government holidays) it will not be a three-day weekend for most of us. Some people will get the day off, but it’s back to work on Friday for most. The next holiday that will give us a three-day weekend is Labor Day which is Monday, September 2nd (it’s always on the first Monday in September).

After Labor Day, here are the remaining holidays for the year.

 Monday, October 14th, Columbus Day.

Monday, November 11th, Veterans Day.

Thursday, November 28th, Thanksgiving.

Wednesday, December 25th, Christmas.
