Watch Katie the Giraffe Give Birth on Live Cam
Katie the Giraffe is close to giving birth at the Dallas Zoo and you can watch. The Animal Planet has eight cams in Katie’s stall to capture the event. The cams are set so they can catch every angle of the birth.
Katie the Giraffe is described as one of the most charismatic of the Dallas Zoo’s large herd. She is due to give birth any day. Katie wanders around the outdoor safari area but comes back to the pen at 5pm.
The zoo is keeping a close watch on Katie the Giraffe and if she looks she will give birth, they will bring her back to the maternity stall. You can sign-up for text ‘birth alert’ messages so you can get online in time to watch the birth.
