Waterville Opera House Community Service Project of the Year by the Mid-Maine Chamber

The Waterville Opera House was awarded 2012 Community Service Project of the Year by the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce. Last year The Opera House Association finished a $5 million renovation project of the Waterville Opera House.

The project was about up-dating and modernizing the building and preserving the historical integrity and beauty of the 110-year-old building. The award points to the association’s commitment to preserving the historic, cultural centerpiece while taking the facilities into the 21st century.  Congrats!  Job well done.
