Weather Channel Temperature Forecast For November Through January

The weather channel companies have released their latest three month temperature outlook for Novermber, December and January. They are forecasting above average temperatures for New England for each of those three months. Dr. Todd Crawford, WSI Chief Meterorologist, indicates that climate models have been indicating a transition from La Nina to El Nino conditions. Dr. Crawford expects the coldest temperatures in the Northwestern United States and a generally mild winter across much of the Eastern United States. With record heating oil prices predicted, this could be good news for us here in Maine.
