Weird Laws in Maine and Beyond

There are some laws on the books that make no sense. Some are outdated that may have made sense at one time but others, no matter when they were made illegal, they made no sense.

Here in Maine it’s illegal to step out a plane in flight over the state.

In Augusta, it’s illegal to stroll down the street playing a violin.

In Biddeford you’re not allowed to roller skate on the sidewalk.

In South Berwick, it’s illegal to park in front of a Dunkin Donuts. (what?)

In Portland, it’s against the law to tickle a girl under her chin with a feather duster.

In Waterville, it’s illegal to blow your nose in public.

and…

In Huberson, Maine, it’s illegal to eat five potatoes in meal without giving one to each of your pigs.
