If you are a fan of Food Network's Triple-D, you've probably seen the episode featuring Gardiner's A1 Diner.  What other Central Maine restaurants deserve to be featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives"?

Cooper asked the question on Tuesday afternoon.  Here are the top 5 answers from your responses.

#5 - Chine-ah Dinah (281 Lakeview Dr, Rt 202, South China) - A Central Maine staple breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  And, don't forget about their Wednesday trivia nights!

#4 - The Purple Cow (6 Skowhegan Road, Fairfield) - People can't stop raving about this family-style restaurant!  According to their regular customers, everything from the pancakes, to the boneless pork chops, to the lobster rolls, is terrific.

#3 - The Liberal Cup (115 Water Street, Hallowell) - If you are looking for a culinary experience that is an adventure, you need to check out Hallowell's Liberal Cup!  Venison burgers, seafood, braised beef ribs, craft beers, and more!

#2 - Big G's Deli (Benton Ave, Winslow) - Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Big G's offers great food and quick service.  Don't forget to grab a whoopie pie for dessert!

#1 - The Red Barn (455 Riverside Dr, Augusta) - Anyone familiar with the area shouldn't be surprised that the Red Barn tops ours list!  Amazing fried chicken and seafood, famous seafood chowder (don't forget to take some home), and ice cream!  In addition to the amazing food, Laura and the crew at the Red Barn does so much for charity!  Approximately 100 charitable events per year!  If you've never eaten there, you are missing out!
