What Would You Do If You Knew You Were Dying Tomorrow?

Brittany Maynard has recently shared her story about suffering from terminal brain cancer.  After being diagnosed on January 1, 2014, she was informed she only had less than a year to survive.  Worried about the pain and suffering she would endure in her final months, she moved to a state that had the Death with Dignity law.  Brittany has chosen November 1, 2014 to die.

When someone dies from terminal brain cancer, they suffer extreme pain.  They have multiple seizures daily.  Lose body functions.  It's a humiliating process and very difficult for the family to witness.  The Death with Dignity law, offers the patient the opportunity to die in peace without suffering.

Brittany's courage is simply beautiful.
