The food, travel and culture website Thrillist.com recently published its list of the best movies set in each state. They did pick some classics like “The Godfather” for New York and Clint Eastwood western “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” for New Mexico.

“Brokeback Mountain” was named the top choice for Wyoming,  and the horror classic “Jaws” narrowly edged “The Departed” for Massachusetts.

So what’s Maine’s? It should have been, “The Shawshank Redemption,” the Stephen King prison drama that’s widely considered one of the best films ever made?

Maybe it’s the Academy Award-winning John Irving drama “The Cider House Rules”?

Or maybe it was some other Stephen King classics like 'Carrie' or 'Cujo'?

No and no.

Thrillist.com named cult favorite comedy “Wet Hot American Summer” the very best movie ever set in Maine.

The spoof launched the film careers of four-time Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper and Golden Globe-winner Amy Poehler.

Which movie do you think was the best one ever set in Maine?
