Who Should Play Merle Haggard And Why Is There No Movie About Him?

'Walk The Line' is a FANTASTIC movie! The story of Johnny Cash was so well told.

But what about Merle Haggard???

Now THAT'S a movie they NEED to make!

After reading all about him and hear talk about his time in prison...what a life he must have had and keeps living!

His father died when he was 8, his single mother worked hard to support her family and Merle rebelled. COUNTLESS times being put in juvenile detention and escaping, Merle road the rails and was thrown in jail. The last time being in San Quentin where Johnny Cash performed his iconic concert. Johnny was the reason he joined the jail's country band.

After being released, he felt like most prisoners do and wanted to commit a crime to get back in. But he didn't.

Let's see THAT story! And my question is....WHO would play Merle?
