A winter storm warning has been issued for midnight tonight until 7PM Monday. In the grand scheme of things, this won't be a blockbuster storm, but we can expect anywhere from 6 to 10 inches of snow here in central Maine.

*WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 7 PM EST MONDAY  IMPACTS... SNOW AND LOW VISIBILITIES WILL MAKE FOR HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS... ESPECIALLY DURING THE MORNING COMMUTE. * WINDS... NORTHEAST 5 TO 10 MPH. * TEMPERATURES... IN THE MID 20S TO LOWER 30S. SNOW... POSSIBLY HEAVY AT TIMES LATE TONIGHT AND MONDAY MORNING. * ACCUMULATIONS... SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 6 TO 10 INCHES. * TIMING... SNOW WILL BEGIN TONIGHT AND CONTINUE THROUGH MONDAY.

I am always skeptical when the local weather people start talking about possible storms when they are a week away, but it does appear that we here in Central Maine will get hit with some bad weather, especially during the Monday morning commute.

Make sure you are listening to storm watch Monday morning for any school closings, cancellations, and delays.

Take it slow tomorrow, and be safe.
