The South African Aloe Ridge Hotel and Game Reserve lists on their web site the rhino as one of the animal’s visitors can see up close. Getting a little too close to a rhino was not a good idea for 24 year old Chantal Beyer who was gorged in the back after taking an ‘up close’ photo with a rhino. An animal wildlife expert told her to get closer to the rhino as a group of visitors were ready to snap a picture. He even enticed the rhino with food to make him come closer.

Immediately after the photos where snapped the rhino charged Beyer who was gorged in the back collapsing a lung and breaking her ribs. The photos that were taken show Ms. Beyer and her fiancé just a few feet away from the rhino just before it charged.
