Woman Shot In The Head In Bath Dies

Chelsea Jones, the young woman shot in the head in Bath Monday night has died.

According to Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland, an autopsy is scheduled Friday at the State Medical Examiner’s Office.  State and Bath Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the shooting.

McCausland said Jones, 22, of Thomaston, was shot with a 9mm Taurus handgun by her fiancé – Dylan Grubbs, 23, also of Thomaston. The couple had driven to the Shaw’s Supermarket parking lot to meet up another man to sell the gun.
