World Record Surfing Santa’s
In Australia they broke a record for the most Santa Claus’s taking a surfing lesson. Retailer RedBallon organized the attempt at Bondi Beach.
The minimum to break the record was 250 surfing Santa’s, they had 350 Santa’s take a 30 minute lesson to break the world record. Instructors said the weather conditions were perfect for the surfing lesson and many beginners managed to get up on their surf boards.
Guinness World Records was on hand to congratulate the Santa’s and present an official certificate. The event also aimed to raise awareness about mental health issues and RedBalloon donated $2,500 to surfing charity “One Wave”.
