The 2014 football season starts tonight! Yesterday I made my AFC predictions and today's here's my take on the NFC.

NFC East:

1. Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles are loaded on offense and the defense should be improved. The best of a very weak division.

2. Washington Redskins: RG3 needs a bounce back season. Good weapons on offense and an alright defense. Should contend for a wild card spot.

3. New York Giants: The offense could have a gem with rookie running back Andre Williams. Eli Manning can still be a decent quarterback but he doesn't have many weapons to throw the ball to.

4. Dallas Cowboys: Dez Bryant is an elite receiver, Tony Romo is coming off surgery. The defense could be the worst in the league. It's shaping up to be a long season in Big 'D'.

NFC North

1. Green Bay Packers: Aaron Rodgers, Eddie Lacy and an improved defense. They will be good and should contend for the big game in February.

2. Detriot Lions: This team seems to underachieve. Stafford has all the tools to be a top ten QB. Calvin Johnson is an elite receiver. The defense is tough up front. Second in this division would be quite an accomplishment.

3. Chicago Bears: They are loaded on offense and thin on defense. They could challenge for a playoff birth.

4. Minnesota Vikings: AP is the best running back of a generation. Cassel and Bridgewater need to be solid at QB. They have an average defense and they could finish .500

NFC South

1. New Orleans Saints: Drew Brees lead one of the most dangerous offenses in the league. The key should be that their defense should be vastly improved. They could be a big game contender.

2. Atlanta Falcons: Could bounce back from a bad 2013. Matt Ryan and the receivers should score their fair share of points. The defense needs to improve.

3. Carolina Panthers: They had a breakout 2013. Cam Newton is dynamic but is starting the season with bad ribs. They really have an average running game and a weak core of receivers. Their defense is the heart of the team. Could contend for a wild card.

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Lovie Smith is a good coach and he should start the Bucs back towards .500. The offense has great receivers and with Logan Mankins the OL should be better.

NFC West:

1. Seattle Seahawks: The Super Bowl Champions are loaded on defense. The question will be will they have enough offense. I see them winning a tough division and be back in the playoffs.

2. Arizona Cardinals: The defense is strong, the questions are on offense that is lead by an aging Carson Palmer and Larry Fitzgerald. They should match last years 10 wins and contend for a wild card.

3. San Francisco 49ers: Way too much off season drama. Colin Kaepernick needs a good season. The defense is still good but will be without a few key players due to suspensions. I see a drop from last year.

4. St.Louis Rams: No offense and a good defense should be good enough for 5 or 6 wins in a tough NFC West.

NFC Championship Game: Green Bay and New Orleans. Green Bay meets New England for the BIG Game with New England winning it all this year!
