Harlem Globetrotters Coming to Augusta
The Harlem Globetrotters are coming to the Augusta Civic Center. Their amazing skills will be on display March 30 at 7pm. They have been entertaining crowds since 1927 when they were known as the Savoy Big Five.
The team that travels along with the Globetrotters is the Washington Generals, and it is said, they are one of only a very few teams to ever beat the Harlem Globetrotters.
Some notable stars that were Globetrotters: Wilt Chamberlain, Marques Hayes, Meadowlark Lemon and Curly Neal, all who have their numbers retired.
