Who’s Left on ‘American Idol’? Season 23 Top 10 Contestants
Anything is possible for the remaining contestants on American Idol. Season 23 is down to the Top 10 after two singers were sent home on Monday night (April 28).
As always, the finalists for ABC's singing reality show come from across America and beyond. There's a Canadian and a man from the U.K. among this group of American Idol finalists. There's a man born in Egypt, or at least there was. Most of the singers with international ties have been sent home.
- On Monday, Idol singers performed songs from seasons past.
- Two contestants with the lowest fan vote total were sent home, trimming the finalists to 10.
- American Idol next airs on ABC on Sunday (May 4).
Carrie Underwood, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan have maintained the supportive approach that has defined this show since its move to ABC several years ago. Still, Bryan and Richie have proven they'll be honest when a singer just doesn't have it.
