A New Hampshire man has been arrested after allegedly driving the wrong way on a busy highway during Thursday's snowstorm, according to the New Hampshire State Police.

According to WGME 13, New Hampshire State Police began getting multiple phone calls and reports of a wrong-way driver on Interstate 93 in Concord Thursday afternoon. Callers were saying that a pickup truck was travelling north in the southbound lanes and was striking other vehicles.

New Hampshire State Police eventually caught up to the pickup truck and activated their lights and sirens, though the driver refused to stop. Eventually, Troopers were able to box the vehicle in and disable three of the truck's four tires. This led the truck to come to a stop.

After removing the driver from the vehicle, it was determined that the man was likely under the influence. Police then took the driver, Matthew Burt, 33 of Concord, into custody and charged him with multiple crimes.

New Hampshire State Police say that in total, Matthew Burt was able to travel at least 12 miles in the wrong direction before his vehicle was disabled and he came to a complete stop.
