It's an agricultural fair tradition and we're right in the midst of it. If you've never been, or you're looking to go back, the famous Windsor Fair is one of the largest and longest-running fairs in the state of Maine.

Second only to the massive Fryeburg Fair in overall size, the Windsor Fair is 9 days of fun geared towards people of all ages and interests. From livestock shows and expos to thrill rides, fair food and plenty of shows at the grandstand, there is no shortage of 'stuff to do' at the Windsor Fair.

Today is Tuesday, Augusta 26th, and it's officially Horsemen's Day. Gates open at 9am today with general admission priced at $15 per person for adults. 11 and under will get in at no charge.

Show steer and Oxen pulling will begin at 9:15 and the popular Beano hall will open at 11 with 9 hours of Beano going right through the day. The Garden tractor pulls will begin at 2:30 over at the Vanner pulling arena.

At 3pm, the Rockwell Amusements midway will open with unlimited ride bracelets starting at $35 per person. At 5:30 the judging of the beef stew cooking contest will take place at the exhibition hall.

To wrap the day up at 6:30 this evening folks can gather in the grandstand to enjoy more of the Maine State truck & tractor pulls. Tonight will feature stock farm tractors, pro farm tractors and heavy pro farm tractors.

The rides on the midway will continue until 10pm. Tomorrow (Wednesday) is Vendor Appreciation Day. See you at the fair!
