Keene, New Hampshire, Man Seeks Girlfriend by Posting a QR Code Around Town
I've been out of the dating scene for quite some time, but I hear it is difficult out on these streets to be young and single.
My co-worker/pal, who is 23 years old, says no one talks to each other when they are out at bars anymore. Everyone is either on their phone or talking to the friends they came with. No one wants to branch out and meet new people.
If you are a single person who wants to meet a potential mate out in the wild and not on an app, this puts a roadblock on that.
More and more, we are seeing young people outsource their dating needs to "experts" whether that is a matchmaker or an online dating service. This might seem like a waste of money to some.
However, I think if you are seriously seeking a partner and you have the financial means, why not?
This sign was spotted in Keene, New Hampshire, and was shared on the New Hampshire Subreddit group. This guy is getting all kinds of judgement:
I am in support of this person and his/her journey to find love if and only if this is a genuine pursuit. If this person has ill intentions and is trying to scam innocent women out of money (or worse) they can go kick rocks.
This Reddit user who shared the photo also added a photo of what happens when you scan the QR code. I guess curiosity got the best of her. I know you are curious too! This is what comes up:
I can't imagine this would be of interest to any woman since they are giving ZERO information about their "client". Are people really going to blindly pursue a relationship with a person they know nothing about?
Do you think this is legitimate? If so, what are your feelings on this dating approach in 2024? If by some miracle it is not a big fat scam, it would be a cute story to tell the grand kids! How did Nana and Pop meet? Well it all started with a QR code and a telephone pole...
