Barstool’s Dave Portnoy Reviews Massachusetts Pizza Place Whose Manager Is on ‘Survivor’

Turns out, this pizza place has been getting a lot of attention recently.

Dave Portnoy Reviews Luigi's Pizzeria in Revere, Massachusetts

The super pizza reviewer himself, Barstool's Dave Portnoy, stopped into Luigi's Pizzeria in Revere, Massachusetts, back around Thanksgiving 2024.

Massachusetts has had a number of pizza reviews from Portnoy, including at least seven spots in the state with a score of at least 9 out of 10.

So how did Luigi's fare?

After taking a bite, he notes how thin and light the slice is but also that it's a little oily.

Overall though, Portnoy scored the pizza a 7.5 out of 10 saying it's a "good, solid pizza."

Not bad, right? Well, the good news gets better.

Luigi's has even more claim to fame aside from their good pizza.

Justin Pioppi, who manages his family's pizza spot, has taken a break from spinning dough for reality TV by competing on the newest season of "Survivor."

Pioppi hoped to win the million dollars on the show so his mom can finally retire.

With this newfound reality TV fame and a Barstool review in the mix, it's looking like Luigi's has definitely been put on the map.
