Law Enforcement Responds To Shooting In Chelsea

According to a press release from the Kennebec County Sheriff's Office, at around 7:46 this morning (August 31st, 2020), they responded to the reported shooting of a 59 year old man.  The incident happened on Wellman Road in Chelsea

The man was transported with non-life-threatening wound to the hospital by Augusta EMS Personnel.

The incident is still under investigation, but there does not appear to be any danger to the public.
