Massachusetts Couple Dress the Same for 35 Years

A Massachusetts couple who were engaged in 1976 and were married in 1978 have since, every day for 35 years, dressed the same. Nancy and Don Featherstone have worn identical outfits, 600 in all, all made by Nancy, when they are together or apart.

Nancy says if her husband is out of town he calls her so they can match their outfits for the day. They think the matching outfit’s show how close they are. It all started after they got married and Nancy made Don a shirt just like the one she was wearing and it has become a habit ever since.

Don Featherstone is the guy that invented the pink flamingo lawn ornament that has been seen on lawns since the 70’s, in fact, he won an Ig Nobel Prize for his invention.
