Following the recent additions of Cushnoc, Otto's On The River, and Huiskamer Coffee House, the revival of downtown Augusta continues with The Oak Table & Bar.

Chef / Owner Eli Irland, who most recently worked in the Portland restaurant scene, plans to highlight the food from Maine's artisans, farmers, and fisherman.  The restaurant will also feature a full bar.

Originally from Central Maine, his previous culinary stops also include Los Angeles and the Philippines. In 2014, he was the runner-up on an episode of Food Network's "Chopped".
