Androscoggin Bank Colisee

My old roommate, Matt Marshall, stopped by the radio station to talk about the big MMA event at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston on Saturday, April 23rd. Matt is part of the Amateur MMA card and is taking on Glenn Kasashaw in the 145 class. Matt has a record of 2-5 and this will be Glenn's first fight.

Boxing was back in Lewiston over the weekend and Mainers on the card represented the 207 well. The main event saw Brandon Berry win the Northeast Junior Welterweight Title with a unanimous decision over Eric Palmer.

When you think boxing and Lewiston, many think of Classius Clay versus Sonny Liston and the phantom punch in 1965. My Dad was actually at that fight! Well, boxing is back in Lewiston on October 11th.

Craig Morgan along with special guests Jana Kramer and Uncle Kracker will be at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee this Friday night and we have your chance to win tickets and more!

The Androscoggin Bank Colisee will be the site for a 35-bout New England Fights mixed martial arts card scheduled for May 18th. The event was approved this week by the Combat Sports Authority of Maine.

The Bellator MMA will be coming to the Androscoggin Bank Colisee on Thursday, March 21. Parts of the events will be televised live on Spike TV. Several Maine fighters will be part of the card.
