We announced last week that Charlie Daniels annual event, Volunteer Jam XX, will be coming in 2018 on March 7. According to theboot.com the benefit is for the Journey Home Project, a military veteran’s organization founded by Daniels. I will also be a tribute to Charlie Daniels and his efforts for Volunteer Jam which has become known worldwide.

Dierks Bentley is set to receive quite an honor during the 2018 Country Radio Seminar. He will be honored with the CRS 2018 Artist Humanitarian Award. Lady Gaga is writing new music for a major motion picture in which she will play a country singer. It’s a remake of ‘Star Is Born’ costarring Bradley Cooper. The original film was in 1976 starring Kris Kristofferson and Barbara Streisand. USA Today recently shared a first look at the filming of the movie, set for a September 2018 release.

His Big Machine Label Group debut boasts 12 tracks, including a cover of an Ariana Grande song which the album gets its title from. Eleven of the songs on Tattooed Heart were recorded in Nashville and produced by Rascal Flatts’ Jay Demarcus. Reba McEntire is also featured on a song called ‘Still Feels Like Mexico.’
