Dale Earnhardt Jr. vowed before the race that he'd join Twitter if he won the Daytona 500. Late Sunday night, that statement turned into reality.

Getting ready for the beginning of the NASCAR season with the Daytona 500 today, USA Today’s sports writer, Jeff Gluck, will do a weekly series of questions with NASCAR drivers. The first weeks questions were put to Dale Earnhardt Jr. and some of the non-related race questions were interesting.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be looking for a new pit crew chief in 2014 as current crew chief Steve Letarte will be leaving after the 2014 season to go into the broadcast booth. Dale Jr. caught wind of the rumor last October at Charlotte and said it came as a huge shock.
