Drug Bust

Two people were arrested in Waterville after a drug bust at the Waterville Grand Hotel led to the discovery of more than $100,000 worth of drugs.

According to public safety spokesman Steve McCausland, The Maine DEA seized more than two pounds of fentanyl from a 21 year old Portland man.

Upon arrest, the vehicle was searched and 2 loaded firearms and an array of drugs and cash were seized.

We are just getting word that authorities have intercepted a package of drugs that has almost 5 pounds of meth in it.

Police doing a bail check on Bridge Street in Augusta on Wednesday found 17 grams of heroin and 12 grams of cocaine in the residence. Three men were arrested; one of them who turned out to be wanted for murder in Ohio.
