It's Election Day 2014. Maine will be voting for governor, U.S. Senator, both U.S. Congressional office, along with many bond issues. Including the bear baiting question. With our 'Tanksgiving' Food Drive underway, I knew it would be tough to get to the polls today. So, I woke up early and got to my voting location just after 7 a.m.

Today is primary election day, Maine Secretary of State, Matthew Dunlap is expecting a low voter turnout of around 15 percent. The biggest draw for today's election is the 2nd district U.S. Congressional primaries. The democrats will choose either Emily Cain or Troy Jackson and the republicans are picking either Bruce Poliquin or Kevin Raye.
