As I watch, I think what an awesome job to have, travel across the country and eat awesome food! Did you know that five restaurants in Maine have been featured on 'Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives'? The Food Network show 'Chopped' is the cooking show that features four chefs and those mystery baskets filled with items that they must use in their dish. They start with an appetizer round, the entree round and then dessert After each course, one chef is eliminated by a panel of judges based on the dish’s creativity, presentation and taste.
On Thursday, May 7th, the Food Network show will have a Maine flavor, as two chefs working in Kennebunk will square off for the right to beat Bobby Flay.
