Horses are funny creatures. Tthey’re totally into Skrillex hair and crazy hats. And don't even get us started on Mr. Ed. Even without talking, horses still crack us up, which is good, because horses can't actually talk. They can wear a ridiculous horse grin though.

What's the best part of the Kentucky Derby? The hats? The horse racing? The glasses filled with cold, cold whiskey? We couldn't decide, so we put some hats on some horses to help us figure it out. It didn't help. We'll make up our mind tomorrow when the race is over.

So far America has been spared in the horsemeat scandal that began in Ireland last month. Which is good news for all of us who never developed a taste for Mr. Ed.

Like they typically do, Budweiser will be featuring their famous Clydesdales in one of their 2013 Super Bowl commercials. We're still not quite sure what they signify. (Budweiser: so good even a giant horse will drink it?)

Miniature horses are probably one of the funniest animals, hands down. There's just something about seeing the things in a shrunken down version that gets us every darn time. Honestly-- can you look at a tiny foal without cracking a smile? No way!

If there's one thing you need to know about us here at TheFW, it's that we love to find any excuse to dress up animals. This is especially true during the holiday season, because festive puppies and cats are like, the best things ever.
