Friday (June 7th) is National Donut Day!
Dunkin' is celebrating by giving away free donuts!
To get your free donut, just order any beverage.
I'll be getting a medium cold brew (1, 1, and a shot of caramel) with my Boston Cream donut...
I am still trying to overcome the closing of Cumberland Farms in Augusta, it was my place for my iced coffee fix. Our traffic manager, Sharon Griffith, found a recipe for homemade iced coffee from The Pioneer Woman.
I've been scrambling to get my iced coffee fix without spending a lot more money. Cumberland Farms in Augusta closed earlier this week and my large 99 cents iced coffee are a thing of the past.
The Cumberland Farms at 5 Mt. Vernon Avenue in Augusta has closed, when I arrived this morning a homemade sign read 'closed' and a truck was being loaded with contents from the store. It had long been planned that they were looking to move to a new location and build one of their 'new stores' with the added food choices like in Winthrop and Augusta.
I really enjoy when the little things make my day and something that really made my day started off about a week ago. I was on Facebook and I saw a post from Cumberland Farms. It was a picture of their Iced Coffee and a caption that read something to the effect of 'who's ready for one'? Well, I must have saw right when they posted it.
I start my day with a delicious iced coffee from Dunkin' Donuts everyday, but today, it tasted even better, why? Because today is Dunkin' Donuts Iced Coffee Day. One dollar from every Dunkin' Iced Coffee (at participating locations) will be donated to the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital.
