The timing couldn't be better. A sunny holiday weekend and peak foliage in Maine. So charge up the camera and pack up the kids and maybe make it a weekend of apple picking, haunted hayrides and leaf peeping.
According to experts, the Maine fall foliage season looks like it will be a good one! However, a leaf fungus has been an issue with oak trees, maple trees and birch trees in some areas of the state. That's largely due to a lot of rain this summer.
