With the College Football National Championship coming up tonight between Alabama and Clemson, some interesting points are made in an article in the Washington Post about paying college athletes.

The College Football National Championship is Monday, December 12 between Oregon and Ohio State.  The Buckeye defense has the task of slowing down the Ducks high powered offense. Oregon scored 59 points on last year’s champs Florida State beating them by 40.

It was the final game of the BCS era: #1 Florida State took on #2 Auburn for the National Championship. Next year, the BCS will be out and a playoff system will be in. The top 4 teams, according to the season final rankings, will determine the top four teams for the playoffs. The number one seed will play number four and number two will play number three, in most cases.
