The end is in sight. The final phase of the road construction work on Mount Vernon Avenue in Augusta is scheduled to start on Monday, April 4th. The project is slated to be complete by June 21st.

The much needed road work on Mount Vernon Avenue in Augusta is set to begin on Monday, July 13th. The state will begin rebuilding the road, the $4.3 million project will finish years of work. Last year part of the road was resurfaced.
The Western Avenue bridge in Waterville is closed for reconstruction. The bridge was closed at 6 a.m. this morning and the project is expected to last through the end of August.
Augusta officials are urging drivers to avoid the southern part of Water Street this Wednesday and Thursday. Public work crews will be doing paving work on Water Street between Walgreens and the Maine State Housing Authority.

Trafton Realty LLC has proposed a new interchange in Waterville near the Sidney town line. The plans for the proposed $6 million dollar project would be for entering and exiting Interstate 95 at Trafton Road, near the Sidney town line.
