I have bought everything from amazon from books to clothes to household needs, art supplies and musical instruments, as well as fitness equipment with great success. Its taken me a while to realize that not all online shopping sites are created equal though. I've had the WISH app on my phone and deleted it. Anytime I see clothing with a model of Asian descent I know I cant order those clothes.
This past winter, after schlepping a gigantic bag of dog food from shelf to cart to register to car to home, I decided I was going to have my dog food delivered to my house through Amazon. We then added the large 24 count toilet paper to the order and never since have I had to go buy these nor have I run out. So with phone in hand on Sunday morning, I began perusing Amazon for laundry soaps, fabric softeners, toilet cleaner, paper towels and such.

If you had $300 to spend on an Amazon shopping spree what would you look to buy? I would look at stuff for around the house, electronics, clothes, new sneakers. I was looking on Amazon today and saw some Asics Men's running shoes, some Nature Valley granola bars, a Hoover Carpet Washer. So many awesome things!
Back when I was in school, back to school shopping meant going to Barefoot Trader on Lisbon Street in Lewiston to buy a couple pairs of corduroys (those pants were horrible), some notebooks, pens and pencils and maybe a new lunchbox. Maybe 75 bucks spent.
