Travis Tritt is tired of hearing his fellow stars weigh in on politics in public. In a series of tweets early Monday morning (Jan. 9) after Meryl Streep excoriated President-elect Donald Trump during her speech at the Golden Globe Awards, the singer advised celebrities to stick to their crafts and "leave politics to the politicians."
Beyonce’ performance at the 2016 CMA Awards did not sit well with Travis Tritt, and the country singer shared his feelings about the decision on Twitter in the days following the awards show. Tritt said ‘As I see it, country music has appealed to millions for many years. We can stand on our own and don’t need pop artists on our awards shows.’
Chris Lane found himself stuck on the side of the road on Sunday afternoon after his tour bus burst into flames. Lane said that he and his crew were about 15 minutes from Nashville, ‘almost home from a long trip back from New York,’ when they heard a loud noise, and the bus’ back lounge caught fire. Everyone got off the bus safe.
